Finance Assistant

Annual salary: £13,670 (pro rata to £20,500 for 37.5 hours)
Hours: 25 hours – Monday to Friday, 9.30 am to 3.00 pm

This is an excellent opportunity for you to join a small team working for Derby’s longest established housing charity. We are looking for someone to join our Finance Manager to help manage the Trust’s day-to-day finances. This includes purchase invoices, helping with credit control, reconciling supplier statements, raising sales invoices, debtor control and undertaking other clerical and administration tasks to support the smooth running of the Trust, including Liversage Court, our residential care home.

Your basic hours are 9.30 am to 3.00 pm Monday to Friday, including an unpaid 30 minute break.

The successful applicant must have 5 GCSEs, or equivalent, including English and Maths, and relate well to older people, have a flexible approach with good communication skills and be familiar with Microsoft email, Word and skilled in Excel.

4 x Senior Team Supervisor’s

Annual salary: £16,088.80
Average weekly: 28 hours
Shifts: 7am/3pm – 2.30pm/10.30pm on a 3 week rota to include weekends and public holidays
Job Type: Part-time, Permanent

Leading a team of 4 you will manage the floor, ensuring a high level of care is delivered to our 40 residents. You will be responsible for administration, ordering and checking of resident’s medication. You will take the lead on dealing with all visiting health professionals. You will carry out supervision and appraisal of your team, review and update resident care plans and undertake risk assessment and referrals.

You will need to be qualified to Health & Social Care – Level 3 and be trained to undertake administration of medication. You will need to have good communication, leadership and supervisory skills. You must have proven good literacy and numeracy skills to GCSE level or equivalent and be computer literate. You must demonstrate empathy, compassion and care, and have experience of working with older people and their needs. You will need to be a team leader and a team player.
