This is a varied and rewarding role working for Derby’s longest established housing charity. You will be part of a small team, carrying out repairs and maintenance, to some 160 almshouses on the Trust’s four estates and our commercially let properties. . We are looking for someone with good all round skills and who is willing to undertake relevant training as required.
Your basic hours are Monday – Friday from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm and you must have your own transport.
The successful applicant must have experience of working in a repairs and/or maintenance trade, and be proficient in carrying out a wide range of jobbing repairs, including plumbing, joinery and decorating repairs. You must be able to work out of hours on occasions and ideally have experience of working in properties occupied by older people.
